Tourism Leadership Group Established to Guide Sector Priorities

New Zealand’s Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment announced on 15 October that a Tourism Leadership Group had been established to advise the Tourism and Hospitality Minister on implementing tourism policy. The group includes leaders from accommodation, aviation, hospitality, events, regional tourism and destination management. Hotels, tour operators and tourism-service providers can monitor the group’s recommendations for future sector priorities and business opportunities. No funding allocation or individual contract price was disclosed in the announcement.
