SkyCity Entertainment Group announced an agreement to sell The Grand Hotel and its business assets to Eden Global Capital Private Limited and Auckland City Collective Limited for NZ$221 million. The agreement was announced on 16 October and remains conditional, including on approval from New Zealand’s Overseas Investment Office; settlement was targeted for mid-December 2026.
