Lake Ōmāpere Restoration Receives NZ$3 Million Government Grant

On 21 October, the New Zealand Government announced a NZ$3 million Regional Infrastructure Fund grant for restoration work at Lake Ōmāpere in Northland. The project creates opportunities for environmental restoration, water-quality monitoring and ecological management services. Environmental consultancies and sustainability providers can pursue work involving freshwater assessment, restoration planning and ongoing ecosystem monitoring.
